In an extraordinary demonstration of humanitarian aid, the Global Relief Plan (GRP) organization recently orchestrated a significant free eye camp in the Nangarhar province of Afghanistan. The event was a tremendous success, providing a variety of services including complimentary eye checkups, medication, surgeries, and the distribution of free prescription glasses.

A total of 563 patients received treatments, broken down as follows:
- 185 patients were treated for Allergic Conjunctivitis.
- 88 patients received treatment for Spring Catarrh, which included medication and sunglasses.
- 105 patients with Near Vision Disturbance were provided with glasses.
- 35 patients underwent Cataract Surgery.
- 110 patients with sight problems were provided with glasses.
